General information only
The guides, articles and answers on this Site are general information for homeowners and businesses in Montgomery County. They are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a qualified technician.
The company that performs the restoration work
Montgomery Water Damage Restoration is a call line that connects callers with an independent local partner company. The partner company performs the water damage restoration work on site and is responsible for the licences, permits and registrations that work requires, for its own insurance and for its own compliance. Montgomery Water Damage Restoration does not perform that work.
A caller may ask the partner company for its licence details by phone at any time, and may verify any credential with the agency that issues it. The partner company's number is not published on this site, to protect the partner's privacy, and it is given on request.
Nothing on this site guarantees the work of the partner company. The work is an agreement between the caller and the company that performs it, and the caller is responsible for reviewing the written scope before approving it.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Alabama is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
